What I Did This Christmas

 I enjoyed the colorful display of lights in the city...

 and the big Christmas trees in malls. 

I also did a lot of shopping for gifts this Christmas.

We have a small Christmas tree this year but we have many gifts to give-away.

 I bought gifts for everyone in the family and also for my cousins.

I also went with my mom and dad to deliver a basket of goodies to some our friends.

 On Christmas eve, we had a big party at our house. We had games and we exchanged gifts. And I got the biggest teddy bear from a friend and coolest Converse shoes from my parents.

 I would say that this is the best Christmas ever!!!!!

My Birthday Song

Thanks to all who greeted me a happy birthday. It was a real gift to see many comments when I woke up today, Nov. 10.

My 11th Birthday is on Wednesday!!

Last Saturday, my auntie and my uncle had a birthday party at their house. My birthday is supposed to be on Wednesday but there was school on Wednesday. So, we had an early party! I think this is the best party ever!!! There were lots of food on the table and lots of kids playing. We played hide- and- seek and tag. And I made lots of friends. Thank you auntie and uncle for the party!!!

Trick-or-Treating

 I was invited by my new friend to come to her Halloween party. I did not want to say "no" because she is a new friend. My mom said I could go but think of it as a costume party and not Halloween party.

So I made my costume. Not a scary costume but something, as my mom said, positive. I didn't have to buy. I used whatever we already have in the house.

 I was the only one wearing bright colored costume. Everyone wore black.

 My cousin went with me. She took the photos and helped me paint my face. My sister Zoe didn't want to go. She didn't like the scary costumes.

 We were on the street stopping cars and visiting homes.

What do you think of my wings? I made that myself. Well, my cousin helped me. Thank you Ate Tweet.

We had played and danced outside my friend's house where we had a table with some food.

I came home with my basket filled with treats to share.

My Favorite Restaurant

  After, helping my mom at Learning Center, we went to my favorite restaurant. I like it there because the food tastes good. My favorite food is chicken with cashew nuts and vegetables. My family likes the shop now because everything in the shop is new. New furniture and new tables. My mom told me to take a picture while we were waiting for the food. Here is the picture of me my cousin took. I also love the new chair it's so soft. ♥~♥

H for Hamburger After Hula Hula

I've got a hamburger after my hula-hula dance performance on stage.

I worked hard to perfect my dance during rehearsals and this is the hardest part.

My sister danced "Hey Mickey", and we both were happy after no mistakes on stage.

We are now working on new routines. I hope to be on stage again.

While my mom and dad were away, my sister and I were bored so we played dress up.

Holiday in Penang

These photos were taken 5 years ago when we were on holiday in a hotel near a beach in Penang, Malaysia.

I remember how I enjoyed swimming with my big brother and my little sister.

Beautiful place, isn't it? I thought that the last photo is a good entry for Skywatch Friday.

My family went shopping for flowers last on Monday.

Rain or shine, we had fun in the garden.

We are all excited to see butterflies and bees flying to our garden.

Yellow Monday

When my mom and I went to pick up my little sister from her dance class, we saw this cute yellow car, we both looked eye to eye and thought of the same thing "Mellow Yellow!" So she wanted me to pose  but the owner came before mom could take a photo of me. LOL. Can you see me behind the car?

We then went to a new mall and found this big shop with a yellow cat! I'm sure it's ok for me to pose here without the cat running away. LOL

I found these yellow stuff that were very pretty.

 My mom said that the bird design would be good for our next project which is embroidery.

Sweet Candy Animal Making Game!!!!!!!!!

Hi, everyone! Here's a game for you. Whoever creates a really sweet candy animal, gets an award!

Here's the rule:

1. Think of an animal that is your favorite.
2. Then think of your favorite candy.
3. And mix it all together.

Making Paper Dolls

 This week, one of our projects is paper doll-making. It's easy and fun.

Cutting board paper for a doll is hard for my littler sister, Zoe, and our friend, Precious. So i had to show them how to carefully do it.

 

My doll is now ready for dress-up fun!
